At Fowl Play Poultry Farm, we believe in raising our animals the way nature intended. Our free-range layers enjoy the outdoors with plenty of space to roam, fresh air to breathe, and abundant sunshine to thrive. Their natural diet consists of grass, insects, and non-GMO feed, ensuring they remain healthy and happy.

This commitment to ethical farming results in superior-quality eggs—better tasting and more nutritious. Our eggs contain less cholesterol and saturated fat while being rich in vitamins A, D, and E, beta-carotene, and Omega-3 fatty acids. Whether you're baking cakes, pies, or preparing meals, our eggs offer the perfect combination of flavor and nutrition.

In addition to producing farm-fresh eggs, we raise Cornish Cross meat chickens for eight weeks before processing them on-site. This guarantees the freshest, most flavorful chicken, meeting the highest quality standards.

Our Story

John and Victor have been lifelong friends, making their business partnership a natural choice. What began as a small poultry processing operation near John's A&S Pest Control business quickly outgrew its space. They later moved to Victor's Uncle Otis' farm, but with growing demand, they knew it was time to expand. Today, their venture has evolved into one of North Carolina’s leading poultry processing centers.

John, a graduate of NC State University, is also a dedicated beekeeper. With over 20 hives, he produces an average of 800 lbs. of pure, local honey each season. His honey—sourced primarily from tulip poplar, blackberry, clover, and holly trees—is known for its rich, natural flavor.

Victor, a graduate of NC A&T, extends his agricultural expertise beyond poultry. He owns and operates Hunt’s Family Farm in Middleburg, NC, where he specializes in fresh produce, beef, and pork. For years, the farm has supplied families with high-quality, locally sourced vegetables and meats.

Visit Us

John and Victor invite customers to visit the farm and see firsthand how their poultry is processed. Fresh eggs and poultry are available for pickup at our farm on Warren Bullock Rd. in Henderson, Monday through Friday.
